Listen to a conversation between a student and a receptionist at the housing office Student: hi, You know how you advertise the refrigerator rentals last week. Professor: Yeah yeah, we put up a bunch of ads in the residence halls, microwaves, bridges, VC RS and TV。 Student: oh, you have television rentals to I wish I'd known it would have been better to rent one than buying one. Well too late now. Professor: Oh, I'm sorry, but I think it's a good deal if you need it for a semester, but I have to say the fridge rental is probably the most popular rental for people, you know who live in a tiny single room with just a bed and a desk. Student: totally, I usually eat in the dining hall, but once in a while I'd like to cook in my room. Maybe I'll look into renting a microwave. Professor: I'll get you their Info. The deadline for microwaves isn't until next month. Student: Great. Anyway, though, I signed up for a fridge last week. Professor: All right. Is there a problem with it? Student: Actually, I still haven't gotten. Professor: This is the first year we've used this rental company, so we're working out a few kinks we've had with them. Student: I thought it was going to be delivered yesterday, so I waited until like 3 o'clock and it never came. So I just wanted to know if I missed it and if not wait.
